Get to know the team… meet Mat Dzida

This week it’s the turn of Mat Dzida one of our younger but very talented Developers who joined the Rare Earth Digital team a few months ago. We asked him a few questions to get to know him a little more.

• Describe your job in three words

Interesting, creative and challenging

• What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

Developing a WordPress website for one of our new clients. Turning the design into a modern website is always something exciting to work on!

• Who would you most like to swap places with for the day? 

Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, if I could only take some of their knowledge on how to become so successful in the tech industry that would be amazing.

• What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? 

A professional footballer

• What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I like a bit of gaming in my free time and watching football, yes, I’m a football fan! If it’s not any of these I also like to do a bit of coding in my own time.

• What are the values that drive you?

I constantly try to learn new technologies to achieve my goals and become better every day.

• What advice can you offer younger people looking to move into software development?

Be consistent in your learning and take every challenge as a learning opportunity.
